Day 1: Arrival in Paro – Thimphu

Day 3: Thimphu – Punakha Sightseeing

Travel from Thimphu to Punakha, stopping at Dochula Pass to enjoy breathtaking views of the Himalayas and visit the 108 chortens. In Punakha, explore the stunning Punakha Dzong, which sits at the confluence of two rivers. Its beautiful architecture and lush surroundings make it a perfect spot for photography and relaxation.

Day 4: Punakha – Paro Sightseeing

Begin your day with a visit to Chimi Lhakhang, a temple known for its blessings on fertility. Afterward, head back to Paro. In Paro, visit Rinpung Dzong, a magnificent fortress that houses important religious artifacts and stunning murals. You can also stroll through the town’s charming streets and browse local handicrafts.

Day 5: Paro Tiger Nest Hike

Prepare for an unforgettable hike to the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Paro Taktsang). The trail takes you through beautiful pine forests, with views of the valley below. Upon reaching the monastery, perched dramatically on a cliff, take time to explore its sacred halls and enjoy the breathtaking surroundings before returning to Paro.
